In Adam's example, which I tested, it *does* stop at the SUBR statement, *except* when MONMSG is the statement preceding the SUBR. Hard to see how you'd want to take advantage of that...

I know it's an unlikely scenario, but I don't like seeing fixes that break existing code. That's one of the success secrets of the iSeries.
