What speed is your line configured for? A 520 can push 100MB and more. What
speed is your network, and more importantly, do the network guys have you on
a link that is throttled down to 10MB? You'd be surprised how many places I
find that. One guy even had the cajones to tell me that he had the System i
on a 10MB connection because "the stuff on that machine isn't that
important". His boss said "Your paycheck comes from that machine."

How do I know what kind of Ethernet card is installed? It is configured
with line speed of 10M.
If we were to get a different, faster card, what (besides a new business
partner) do I need to ask for?
Can one card be swapped for another with just some configuration tweaks?
What do I need to know about the network external to the i5?
The WAS 6.1 guide recommends Fiber or Copper GB Ethernet.
