The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
You can do a WRKHDWRSC *CMN and find your Ethernet card. Are you using the
internal adapter T5 or T6, they can go faster than 10MB.

Subject: Ethernet Cards
I am programmer but my job includes maintaining our 520.
How do I know what kind of Ethernet card is installed? It is configured
with line speed of 10M.
If we were to get a different, faster card, what (besides a new business
partner) do I need to ask for?
Can one card be swapped for another with just some configuration tweaks?
What do I need to know about the network external to the i5?
The WAS 6.1 guide recommends Fiber or Copper GB Ethernet.
As always thanks for your aid,
Bonnie Lokenvitz
