We have quite a number of Lexmarks here. All use port 9100. Most were remote
outq, but that caused a conflict with an HP system, thus port 9100.

Quoting Carel Teijgeler <coteijgeler@xxxxxxxxx>:

John,

You say the DEVD has changed. IIRC, Lexmarks listen to port 9600, not the
one you supplied: PORT(9100).

You should check the KnowledgeBase or search the archives of this mailing
list to be sure. Do you have other Lexmarks in the shop? Check their
configuration.

But we had also problems with Lexmarks, when configured to listen to ports
the HP printers listen to.

Sorry not to be more helpful, cannot check this, as i am not near an
AS/400.

With regards,
Carel Teijgeler

I was called to look at a printer yesterday. Currently, it is printing in
portrait mode, even though it should be printing this report in landscape.
To accomplish this, the font has been changed to a tiny font.

I was told that the printer had not been changed. I have been looking at
the setup page for it, a Lexmark Optra T610. Nothing there seems unusual.

According to the caller, the behavior changed in December. Lo and behold,
the device description has a change date in December.

I retrieved the source, but don't know what parameter is effecting this
behavior.

Can somebody point me to the parameter that is inhibiting page rotation.
