We had a problem with our network last night between 10 and just
after midnight. We have a job run at about 10:20 that sends out many
many emails. Our SMTP server is set to 3 retries at 30 minute
intervals. That's it. So, of course, these emails never got sent.
I know that we changed this some time ago. I think we should
probably have at least one that retries *hours* later or possibly
even the next day. Can anyone give me an idea of good retry
intervals?
