Then again, the Weather channels weather bug on my PC has had issues
starting up. Apparently there's a new web ad technique that everyone's
enamored with. It kind of runs under the covers off of some site or
another. And WebSense blocks that. With the weather bug, I was getting
some weird Java script error. It took our help desk to explain that,
under the covers, it was a WebSense block as I wasn't getting the usual
"we're going to narc on you to your boss, you filthy unauthorized surfing
son of a thousand fathers" web page. I wonder if this is related?
Yeah, I was really surprised to read an article about why you need a one
stop shopping for performance tool and not have one ad about such a tool.
Especially as the article was written by a vendor.
