Back in the day when I heard that WRKACTJOB was a resource hog I also heard that WRKSBSJOB was not.

Don't ask me to remember more. :>)

Just saw this again, and, yes, I believe this is actually a better solution,
because the main production job spawns off other batch jobs, and it would be
easier to see them all on one screen, instead of having to page through
WRKACTJOB to find all of the spawned jobs!

Of course, it wouldn't surprise me if WRKSBSJOB also triggers this admin's
ire. Not that I really care anymore, but anything that keeps him off my
back is a welcome thing.
