RE: WRKCGISPLF replacement

My SPLTOOL Software (www.bvstools.com/spltool.html) (along with MAILTOOL
www.bvstools.com/mailtool.html) is also a great combination. It's not free,
but it does come with full support.

SPLTOOL will convert *SCS spooled files to PDF, HTML, Text or RTF. MAILTOOL
is an email client on the iSeries used to send emails. When they are both
installed, all you need to do is one command (SPL2EMAIL) and it will convert
and email the spooled file in one shot.

If you also want to convert *AFPDS spooled files to TIFF or PDF and email
them, my AFPTOOL utility (www.bvstools.com/afptool.html) is also available.
Put all three together and you have the SPLTOOL Suite. The SPL2EMAIL and
other commands (to convert to the IFS, send via FTP, or convert toa folder)
also can tell what type of spooled file it is and use the appropriate
conversion depending on the Spooled File Type, so it's a great all in one
package.

If your only requirement is sending spool files on email,
check out the MMAIL routines in WWW.EASY400.NET . They are
free and with source code. We use them frequently in order
to send spools with up to 198 cols.

We have installed and have used the free WRKCGISPLF
program for a year now (for sending System I spooled file
entries as .pdf attachments on email).

It works great, but has some report size limitations -
seems like around 80 pages is the max for .pdf.

We would like to look into purchasing a replacement
program which very closely resembles this freebie, yet
overcomes any "size" limitations.
