The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
An SQL TABLE will always have its date format *ISO; there are no date
formats other than *ISO for create, irrespective of what date format may
be active either for presentation [e.g. in reports or by CHAR(date,
LOCAL)] or interpretation by the parser. Thus the original physical
file will need to have DATFMT(*ISO) specified, to be able to match the
TABLE that is created.
Note: The RENAME can be eliminated, since v5r4, by specifying the
RCDFMT clause:
CREATE TABLE DesiredName AS
( SELECT * FROM FILENAME )
WITH NO DATA RCDFMT FORMATNAME /* <-- Designated Format name */
