This worked fine:
SELECT rank() over (order by copen) as nrank,CCUST, COPEN
FROM ppidivf.rcm
where ccust like '7%'
SELECT statement run complete.

RANK/ROWNUMBER - Function not supported for query?
I'm playing around with using RANK and/or ROWNUMBER functions in a
query, but I keep getting the error message "Function not supported
for query"
If I click help on the err msg, it reveals reason code 6 - An OLAP
function is not supported for this query, Recovery - If code 6,
remove the OLAP function from the query
Here's the SQL
select
RANK() OVER (ORDER BY ORDAMT) as NRANK,
ORDNO, CSTNO, ORDAMT
FROM ccsdtatest.dopordm0
where ORDNO like 'CU%'
What am I doing wrong?
