We have many (way too many) Windows servers. Some are running NTFS and some are running DFS volumes. We have a user setup on the iSeries and the Windows domain that match names and passwords. From the iSeries WRKLNK command this user can see and access files on all the NTFS servers but it can only see folders on the DFS servers, it can't see or access any files. We can use an XP PC and logon to the domain as this same user and see and access files on the NTFS and DFS servers using SMB/CIFS drive mapping so that proves that it is not a Windows authority issue. I know that the iSeries does not talk to DFS but I would think it would see the DFS servers files using the same SMB/CIFS mapping that the XP client can see.

Anyone have any clues?
