I put one in a few weeks ago - it basically sits right on those two rails.
Doesn't appear to matter which way they go in. I do seem to recall that the
packaging for the CEC is what had the instructions for the EXP install, and
the EXP box didn't contain much of anything other than the rack rails and
the unit itself.

I'm sorry I don't have any doc for you, but do pay close attention to the
SCSI wiring, and try not to let the cables hang too heavily upon
themselves.

Hi All,

I'm feeling kinda stupid, but i can't find any documentation on how to
install the 5786/EXP24 unit into a rack.

I have a few metal parts that don't make much sense on their own.
There was no documentation included into the packaging, and the
infocenter (
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/systems/scope/hw/index.jsp)
does not show anything about installing the EXP24 rackmount kit.
(There is documentation about cabling it and replacing parts - but not
the installation itself).

Does anyone know how to find this documentation?

Regards,

Lukas
