None of these work for me. The replace-value in the regex is always taken
literally (minus the backslash):

sed s/%0D%25/x'25'/g /file1.txt > /file1.txt.tmp

sed s/%0D%25/\x'25'/g /file1.txt > /file1.txt.tmp

sed s/%0D%25/\r/g /file1.txt > /file1.txt.tmp

sed s/%0D%25/\n/g /file1.txt > /file1.txt.tmp

sed s/%0D%25/\x25/g /file1.txt > /file1.txt.tmp



Can somebody bring rest to my frustration?
