I don't know if a utility like that and I haven't used CPYTOIMPF in a
while.

You could write a RPG program that generates the file.
You would need to use x'05' as your delimiter.

the way the 400 retains the spacing for the field length. The file
imports
into Excel just fine. Does anyone know of any utilities that work like
cpytoimpf but trims the spaces?
