Not sure if that is true. The job the does the cpytostmf file was
running under OPERATOR. We just changed it to submit and run under
different user ID and now the file is created with *public *all.

Hi Lim,

CPYTOSTMF always sets public authority to *NONE. To the best of my
knowledge, it's out of your control -- there's nothing you can do to
change it.

I suggest writing a CL program that runs the following commands:

CPYTOSTMF
CHGAUT

Use that CL program instead of CPYTOSTMF. That way, the CPYTOSTMF will
be done, and the CHGAUT will set the authorities the way you want them.
You can even create your own command as a front-end if you want it to
be more user friendly.
