I recommend that you contact zebra.com. Their help desk support is excellent.
Their Zebra printer manuals are very useful also.

I Need to get a Zebra LP 2844 working off the back of a IBM dumbtube or
via Client access. I've tried *WSCST and QWPDEFAULT in iSeries Access but,
the file just goes to LA LA Land as if it printed. The IBM dumbtube is set
as a 5256 and standard ASCII printer. Same results as iSeries Access. It
is possible we are not formatting the spoolfile right.

So anyone have this little guy working? If so can you post a very simple
example of the data in the spoolfile like..
