Are you getting the same error with all the combinations? Is there any
possibility that the error is correct and something is really wrong with
that userid that prevents it from being able to sign on to the FTP
server (authority, disabled, not defined to IIS, etc.)?
If I understood your original post correctly, you said you can manually
FTP to this exact same server using this exact userid/pwd, correct? Not
one that is similar, but this exact one, correct?
If so, my next move would be to run line traces of the manual session
versus the automated session to see exactly what the difference is.
