From: Larry Bolhuis

I keep all the current PTF images (as well as a full OS build stack) on
my laptop on an extra USB HD velcroed to the top. This turns out to be a
VERY handy thing to have along. For example recently I was asked to help
with a 520 that was 'missing some stuff'. (indeed!). Within an hour we
were IPLing to do PTFs. Without it we would have been there way past
happy hour!

Very scary. In fact, I don't know if it was scarier that Larry had all of
the OS software and PTFs and could install everything from his laptop, or
that earlier in the day I was able to get TCP/IP running on that same
machine without any PTFs applied at all <grin>.
