I'm getting a weird error. I'm doing a fairly straightforward insert
operation from an SQLRPGLE program, and the job log says the file is not
valid for the operation.
The reason code is:
3 -- MKREOW not journaled, or no authority to the journal. Files with
an
RI constraint action of CASCADE, SET NULL, or SET DEFAULT must be
journaled
to the same journal.
What the heck is an RI constraint action ?
The weird thing is that I can run the same insert statement from
QuantumDB into the same file, and it works fine.
To make sure it wasn't my SQL statement, I made another program with a
much simpler statement, just inserting hard-coded values into the file.
Same error:
Here's the simple version:
DMain PR ExtPgm('MK645AR2')
DMain PI
/Free
Exec SQL
Insert into MKREOW
Select 'A',1,12345678,'2007-12-21',12345678,'EFL2A','PLN','A',14
From OEORDT;
*InLR = *On;
/End-Free
