What format are they currently in? Are then in BLOB fields?
How much is an enourmous amount of money? Maybe it just takes that much
time to do what you are asking... or maybe they are being opportunistic.

We have been a purchaser/user of the REAL VISION IMAGE software for
several years on our iSeries. You can image our shock when we found out
that the RVI product doesn't provide a document export function. They
want to charge us an enormous amount of money to provide us with a
utility to export our 25,000 documents in their original form so we can
load them into another WinTel based Document Management system. Does
anyone know of a shareware or other utility program available to export
documents form the RVI product?
