Remove the face plate and reinstall. They are fairly thin and can be twisted quite
easily. I installed a tape drive on a 525 and ran into the very same thing. Just be
really careful on the reinstall.

Has anyone else that got new 525 models noticed that either the faceplate
or slimline DVD drive trays are slightly 'out of whack'? On both of our
new 525s, when closing the DVD tray, it catches and is difficult to close.
On one of them, when ejecting a disk, the tray doesn't open... I finally
discovered that when it doesn't open, if you press on the machine's
faceplate cover near the drive, the tray will finally eject. I've tried
reseating the machine faceplate cover, but it still acts the same way...

Seems like it may be inherent to the design?
