Hi,
apologies if question is going to appear badly informed but posting for
network chaps!

They believe that iseries is accessing DNS as can ping a server by name,
when they try to ping a printer by name it fails. Can ping printer by IP
address from iseries though.

Though this is the case it appears can ping printer from a PC.

Sorry again for lack of details but any helpful hints would be gratefully
received.
