Just choose the FTP option, that should work flawlessly.

Here's a nice step-by-step list (it describes the downloading & image
catalog process):

Subject: Fix Central

Okay, in preparation for the big install, I went to Fix Central to
download
all the cumes and groups and hipers and whatever. I figured I'd
download
them to my network, and install them after loading V5R4 (this was John
Jones' idea, and it makes perfect sense). The only problem is that Fix
Central told me it would take a while (roughly 30 minutes) to package up
my
order. Being the impatient curmudgeon that I am, I went back to look,
and I
don't see any information on pending packages, nor do I know how to look
for
them.

Anybody ever order a package to download via Download Director and then
go
back and get it?

Joe
