Both connections stay open until I click on "Connect" in Client Access.

A little confused here. When you start Client Access your ISP Connection goes down? Or does it go down as soon as you start dial-up to the LAN? No idea on the former, but if the later, check if your default gateway is getting clobbered. Use ROUTE PRINT from a command prompt (assuming Windows here) in a before and after. Examine the DEFAULT GATEWAY line. Maybe your ISP is not going down but your traffic is being routed to the wrong place. There are more various possibilities related to routing, just remember that wherever you go, you have to be able to route THERE and BACK, as the routes can take different paths each way.

Somewhere along the line I have inadvertently changed a setting. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I used to be able to be online with my broadband ISP connection and then dial into a LAN and connect to an AS/400 on that LAN and use Client Access. In fact I could be on two different machines at once - one on-line, one on the dial-up.

Now when I dial in to the LAN I stay online with the ISP but as soon as I start Client Access on the LAN my ISP connection goes down. I am surmising that since it happens when Client Access starts on the LAN machine, that thee is some setting I have screwed u.
