Chris,
You can use the HMC to access the ASMI. Otherwise you can take a
PC, and connect it to the HMC2 port on your 520, and its default address
will be 192.168.3.147. Just put your PC on the same subnet, then open a
browser and enter
https://192.168.3.147 and you will be connected to your
ASMI.

Subject: ASMI
Ok I have a HMC at V4R5 and I want to get to the ASMI on my iSeries
520. The HMC has two interfaces, one on our network and the other
directly connected to the iSeries. The iSeries interface is
192.168.0.1/16. How would I find the IP address of the iSeries? How
can I get to ASMI from the HMC or my our network? I have tried to add a
route from our network to the private LAN using the HMC's IP address on
our network. I can ping the 192.168.0.1 interface of the HMC but I
cannot find any devices on the other side? Can someone point me in the
right direction?
