Pete:

A belated thanks. Does "hmcaddress" mean the I.P. address? If so, I'm
missing something. I know the HMC address, the PC is on the same subnet
mask, I can ping the HMC, but (e.g.)

https://12.34.56.78/

in Firefox gets me "The server is taking too long to respond". For shucks
and grins I even capitalized the S in https, and of course no change.
Internet Explorer is the same.
