The web server that come with i5/OS is a supported product from IBM. It is
not true Apache but "powered by" Apache (don't ask... I don't know). As long
as you have the last hipers and PTFs you are up to date. IBM does not use
the latest and greatest version of Apache.

If you are feeling adventurous, you probably could download the source and
try to compile it...
