The I_BASE cd has always been in a separate shrink wrap package, all by
itself. It comes in the same ship box, but it is separate.

Subject: Re: V5R4M0 Upgrade CD's

I looked at another customer of mine just now and browsed the image
catalog folder and there is an I_BASE_01 file in that folder so there
must be one required for the upgrade. I just can't find it in the
package. Before I get on the phone to IBM, I just wanted to make sure
that there isn't some new procedure for getting the I_BASE_01 CD by
itself (like by some clever method like download).

I think that it should have been sent in the upgrade package, but it
wasn't. Maybe they were spinning a new version and forgot to include
it.....

A customer of mine just got the V5R4M0 upgrade CD's shipped to them. In
rummaging through the box, I can find all the D2924_01-07 CD's. The
L2924_01-02 CD's. The B2924_01-02 CD's and the B29MM_03-04 CD's.
However, the I_BASE_01 CD is nowhere to be found. What is suspicious is
that the label on the package that the CD's came in says "2 of 2" yet
there is no "1 of 2" in the box. Is there a reason for this omission or
has the IBM distribution center missed a CD?
