To act as an FTP/SSL client? Not much.

Just set the SECCNN parameter to the FTP command to the proper value
(usually *SSL).

Make sure to register the CA of the partner i5/OS instance in DCM if
you're not using a well known CA.

Subject: FTP/SSL

I have a client that is going to be using FTP/SSL to send a file from
their System i to another system.
At this time, they are not using the System i for any Web
communications.
They have purchased a software package from PA Townsend that provides
most of what they need.
What do they have to setup on the System i to enable this?

Thanks,

Jeff Young
