The difference is, the new techniques are easy enough to learn - and there
is more support for them. RPG cycle, not so.
That would not include, of course, bleeding edge - where you need to learn
and make it up as you go. I would not call RPG Cycle leading edge.
If someone can understand things like user paces, pointers, free form
RPG, etc, then it shouldn't be hard for them to learn the cycle.
Contrary to popular belief ... it ain't rocket science.
