OK I didn't read Trevor's argument that way. He said 'of equal skill
set' so I took that to mean the candidates were differentiated only by
the cert. Therefore the cert means something. But he does write in
Australian English so I could be wrong.... :-)
I think we all agree that a certification is but one check mark on the
list of what makes a candidate qualified for any given position.
