Pete,
Thanks Pete but I jumped the gun and didn't realize that our load source A is not the same as our flash perm. Here're all our flashcodes:
DISPLAY/ALTER/DUMP
RUNNING MACRO: FLASHLEVELS
LS FLASH SYNC ENABLED.
HMC MANAGED
BASE LEVEL:
SIDE DATE/TIME MI KEYWORD PTFS (V5R3M0)
------------- ------------- ---------- ---------------
MEMORY 20060505/1020 SF240_219 MH00678
FLASH P 20060505/1020 SF240_219 MH00678
FLASH T 20060505/1020 SF240_219 MH00678
LOAD SOURCE A 20041215/1425 SF222_075 MH00199
LOAD SOURCE B 20060505/1020 SF240_219 MH00678
Any comments?
Thanks,
Bryan

Bryan,
Just do not upgrade the HMC to V7, as you need to be on SF240_299 or
higher for that.

Pete,
Thanks. This was very helpful to me as well, allaying some concern I had
about our FSP level. Not that we're planning to upgrade, but it's nice to
know that we're ahead of the curve being at SP240_219.

It basically says that both the Temp and Perm of the FSP have 01SF225_096,
and that is also the code that is running. This is pretty got dated code,
as we discussed in a previous email.
Then inside of LIC (of OS/400) you have PTF MF00678 loaded into the
A side (you would see this with DSPPTF 5722-999 as Perm applied). Then on
the B side you have PTF MH00948, and if we did a DSPPTF 5722-999 we would
see this as Temp applied.
If you decide to upgrade to V5R4, you would have a problem, as the
FSP would need to be at min level of 01SF235_160, and you are only at
01SF225_096.
