The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Now that's an interesting idea. Did a quick google search and found this. Looks like SQL server can link to DB2/400
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa964120.aspx
DB2/400 can't do the same can it? Link to a remote SQL server

Mike,
I've not played w/SPS in any depth, but at the worst, you should be able
to use sqlserver as a gateway to your iSeries. Let the portlets connect
to sqlserver, but have sqlserver linked to the iSeries so it's basically
a pass-through. Obviously getting SPS to talk to the iSeries directly is
preferable, but if you need to, it's an option.
