RE: External Stored Procedures / Library Lists

Has anyone run into this before? How would I specify the library list
for the RPG III program to execute with when executed via the SQL
procedure?

Why would you want to? Seriously... Why can't the caller (PHP
connection) set the correct library list? To me the whole point of a
library list is so I can have a program in development, test and
production w/out having to change what libraries it looks at for data.
If you somehow embed the library into the program (either hard coded, or
from data-area, table, etc.) then you have another artifact you need to
promote and synchronize w/production.

Any calls to RPG we've done from the web (java and .net in our case)
have relied on setting the library list on the connection string. I
don't know PHP, but I'd guess (hope?) you have a similar option.
