Re: Vary?

One of the lessons I learned years ago from IBM was the usefulness of specifically defined terms to help is stay on the same page as we worked together to tame those wild bits bytes. IBM quite often used a lesser used word or an exactly defined word to help us. I expect "vary" is one of those instances?
