QFileSvr.400 and *IMGCLG

I got asked an interesting question recently:
Is it possible to add to an image catalog an entry that resides on a
different machine (using QFileSvr.400), then save/restore from/to it?

Eg. something along the lines of:
CRTIMGCLG IMGCLG(TEST) DIR('/QFileSvr.400/OtherSys/testcat')
ADDIMGCLGE IMGCLG(TEST) FROMFILE(*NEW) TOFILE(test.bin) IMGSIZ(*DVD4700)
LODIMGCLG IMGCLG(TEST) DEV(OPTVRT01) OPTION(*LOAD)
INZOPT VOL(*MOUNTED) DEV(OPTVRT01) CHECK(*NO)
SAVLIB LIB(A B) DEV(OPTVRT01)
