it is about time. Since i5/OS can run on p5 the only reason to keep
the i5 hardware line is to be able to overcharge the customer. The
quarterly sales are being announced today. If the numbers are
terrible, maybe this change will be forced on IBM.
Is it Ian Jarman who does not like user based pricing and allowing
i5/OS to run on the p5? Does he report to Elaine Lennox? The sales
chiefs seem to come and go but Jarman always stays.
