If by "INPUT" you mean read, there is a tab on the ODBC configuration panel
that allows you to set up on the local ODBC connection, read only. If the
ODBC connection type is set as a "File DSN" in the ODBC manager, or you are
configuring your own based on keywords in the ODBC DSN file, the keyword
CONNTYPE=2 will set read only.
