Rob,

Did you have any special issues when using iSeries Access to get a HMC
session? I am able to do it with MochaSoft but not iSeries Access.

I really like the HMC. However I wouldn't use it for heads down data
entry as I've yet to figure out where the field exit key is. And my
"desktop" is even a laptop in a docking station and I eschew the extra
keyboard and mouse.

I use an iSeries Access session to "share" a session on the hmc and that
works wonderfully as I can vpn in and use that from home, and have done so

numerous times.

I requested access to the kvm as we have numerous xseries servers (IXS,
iSCSI, standalone). I was strongly encouraged to use DameWare instead of
accessing the KVM. I was told that was unappealing. Now, I am sure this
is up for subjection based on personal preference, KVM and KVM interface
software.
