Here we go again. Seems like every other time we try and set up Secured Telnet for a customer, something goes wrong.

This time, I wasn't there myself, when it happened, but I'm told this error message came up at some point after we'd created a local certificate authority, but before we'd actually assigned a certificate to the Telnet server:

An error occurred during the certificate validation. The issuer of the certificate may not be in the certificate store or the issuer may not be enabled.

I'm told it's a V5R3 box.

Any suggestions on what to look for (besides hiring an appropriate expert)?
