Paul did not say anthing about needing a network card,
I said "unless you have more specific requirements"
Needing it to connect to the network with a network card
would fall into "more specific requirements"

You can connect a laser printer and use it for AS/400
printing without a network card, all of our PC's have laser
printers attached and we all print our AS/400 reports to
them using Client Access (or whatever it's called today).

I believe they are Xerox printers.

Any Laser printer that supports PCL5 would be a possible
alternative, unless you have more specific requirements.
I have clients that have replaced Acom printers with $200 HP
Laser printers that work fine.
