4GB is poorer performer from index maintenance standpoint. It is "old"
technology.
Once you get the fix and decide to change keyed PFs back to 1TB, depending
on the PF size, it may take a long time to rebuild the access path. I
believe this requires exclusive lock on the file for the duration of the
change.

Question is, do you intend to create a lot of large, keyed PFs before the
fix arrives?

Subject: CHGCMDDFT CMD(CHGPF) NEWDFT('ACCPTHSIZ(*MAX4GB)')

I have a pmr open with IBM where files saved on one system with an access
path of *MAX1TB cannot be restored on another. *MAX4GB is ok. OS is a
currently supported release. While waiting for IBM to resolve this the
other developers are suggesting that I change the source system to
CHGCMDDFT CMD(CHGPF) NEWDFT('ACCPTHSIZ(*MAX4GB)')

Anyone see a problem with this for an interim fix?
