Thanks for jumping in. I agree with you 100%. IBM is still 'working' on
the open PMR. I'm waiting until they either ultimately decide:
1) it's wrong as is and we'll fix it
2) if you set option X to Y it will work properly
3) working as designed
If they ultimately come back with #3, I will be taking names and sic'ing
some of you (who know the IBM insiders) on them.
Your statement of "transparency at the format level between DDL and DDS
generated files" is exactly the way to put it.
IBM, you want us to modernize? Get rid of this roadblock.
