Sure, of course - same as Jon said, and what I often do with Paint Shop
Pro - to get a screen shot. The question here was, however, how to do it
another way - using the attribute bytes that are a part of the output of
STRCPYSCN. For example, maybe you don't want the black background - you
can play with the graphic captured image - or do this macro in Word. You
pays your money, you takes your choice.

Not to detract from your programming efforts Vern - but for
documentation
purposes (why else involve Word) why not simply use Snagit to do screen
captures. Really cheap and much nicer and so easy to add callouts -
highlight screen areas etc. I can't imagine working without it these
days.
