As I mentioned in a previous email, we too had this problem and I have tried
lots of things to get rid of it. The outq was setup as a *RMT outq so I
decided to set it up as a *LAN outq since the printer supports PJL.
Interestingly enough, it appears the problem went away!?

Subject: Printer Printing Extra Page

A user reported a problem today that I have never seen before.

On an 820 at V5R2, user is now getting an extra page on a printer described in
its text as an HP 5SI.

Extra page has only the phase
'PHWLSLSQ         ldfA289systemname.company.com'.

HWLSLSQ without the 'P' is the outq name. HWLSLSQ is also a user profile.
The report is sent via SNDNETSPLF to this user ID. Job separators are not on.

The particular User ID, Outq description, Directory Entry, printer file, and
program have not changed in years.

What has changed is that the printer is now receiving MS documents interspersed
with the AS/400 reports via another process.

This same report is distributed to various other printers in the same using the
SNDNETSPLF. No issues reported for those printers.

Any ideas where I should look?

Thank you,
Bonnie Lokenvitz
