Well, since the subject suggests it is only a warning now, whoever replaces the battery needs to turn on the error condition first, in SST - at least, that is what the directions say - and these directions are available in InfoCenter if someone needs to do the job himself or herself - I've done an i5 and a 270 now this year. I forgot that step and had to bring the machine up at least to DST - oy oy oy! At least I'd not taken the card out yet.

But if you are under maintenance, let the CE do it.
