Have all the PC's got the latest Windows 2K and Office 2003 PTF's loaded or is
there any difference in the PTF levels?

workstation,Outlook 2003, and Client Access V5R2

Hi!

It seems that I'm not the only person to have troubles with this dll, since
2 weeks... I read some messages from microsoft support newsgroups... Users that
have troubles with this dll have almost the same configuration than me.
But for some users at my office, it works perfectly. We tried to compare these
computers with the computers that have the dll trouble. We haven't found the
difference until now...

I uninstalled Outlook 2003 from my computer. I uninstalled Client Access V5R2.
I tried to install Client Access V5R4 with its latest service pack.
Then, I go to my Start Menu -> IBM iSeries Access for Windows -> Emulator ->
Start or configure sessions, I get the window where my old configurations
appear. When I try to select one of them and I click on the "Start" button,
nothing happens. When I click on the "New" button, nothing happens... When I
try to launch iSeries Navigator, I get the __crtLCmapStringW error message box.

Is there any solution, except crying or pushing my computer down my window?

Charles

Well here's what IBM support will have you try...

Boot the PC in Safe Mode
Logon has The Administrator (No not someone with Admin, must be The
Administrator)
Uninstall iSeries Access and Re-Boot into Safe Mode and login as The
Administrator Uninstall ALL Virus Software and Re-Boot into Safe Mode and
login as The Administrator Install iSeries Access Re-Boot into Safe Mode and
login as The Administrator Install the latest iSeries Access for Windows
Service Pack Re-Boot Normally and test Re-install you Virus SW.

Hi!

We migrated our windows server last weekend. We had a Windows 2000
server
and now we have a Windows 2003 server. We also migrated to Exchange
2003
mail server. On each workstation, we installed Outlook 2003. We have
Client Access V5R2 installed on these workstations. Each workstion
has
Windows
2000
installed.

Now we have a problem. Half of the workstations cannot connect to
our iSeries. At computer startup, we got an error message box about
a
program
called "cwbsvstr.exe" and an error about __crtLCmapStringW and
msvcrt.dll.

We I try to open a conection to our iSeries, I get an error message
box
about "cwbemlic.dll" that cannot be loaded. But the dll is still in
my C:\program files\IBM\Client Access\Emulator...

I tried to repair my registries with XP Repair Pro. It did not solve
the
problem...

Help! Half of our users cannot connect to our server!!!

Charles
