The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
In C:\ProgramFiles\IBM\ClientAccess\Emulator\Private you will find your
session definitions. Right click and open up your .ws file with Notepad.
Place a keep alive entry like the one below into the Telnet5250 section.
That should keep the sessions from timing out. If it continues, have your
network Nazis dig deeper.
[Telnet5250]
KeepAlive=Y
HostName=Profile
Security=CA400
SSLClientAuthentication=Y
LastConfigHostDoesNotTimeout=N
AutoReconnect=Y

Subject: TN3270 Sessions timing out
I have a PC in my office running Win XP with Client Access v5.2.0. The
TN3270 sessions will time out after 5 - 10 minutes of inactivity. I
have many other PC's in the office running the same version of CA that
do not have this problem. I'm thinking it is probably a setting either
in CA or on XP itself that is causing this, but I have not been able to
determine what it might be. In the iSeries job log I'll see the
following error messages at the time of the timeout. Sorry about the
orientation.
