Hi David -
Deep in the dark depths of my feeble mind I recall running into this.
You're not trying to make the owner the same profile as the Primary
group are you?

Subject: CPFA0A2 error on CHGOWN?
Folks:
Anyone know what could cause a CPFA0A2 'Information passed to this
operation was not valid.' error when performing a CHGOWN operation?
The file was in a normal directory on the IFS, as far as I can tell. It
wasn't mounted from NFS or windows.
Nothing else appears in the joblog to indicate what the problem might
be.
I've seen this error before when working with a remote file system ...
but never when just operating in the IFS directly.
Thanks!
david
