That would work, but check with IBM first if the file server is not an
actual windows server. I've had troubles doing direct IO on devices that
weren't, when engineering bought stuff without bothering to let us know.

Moving a file






What would be the quickest and simplest way to get a 1 field (120 bytes)
file with maximum of 250 records from qsys over to a networked PC hard
drive? I am looking for a way to fully automate this via commands and do
not want to use Client Access if at all possible.
